What this site is
Kerith Ventures publishes commentary and runs a front door for founders. Everything here is editorial. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, and no page is an offering document or should be read as one.
Kerith Ventures is not a licensed investment adviser, broker or dealer, and nothing here is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice. Essays are published under Ryan Salvador’s own byline and represent his views at the time of writing.
Companies and performance
Companies are described factually. This site carries no valuations, no multiples, no marks and no performance figures of any kind, and it will not acquire them.
Two rails are listed separately and deliberately. Built is product work done by Bloom DevLabs. Backed is positions held at a real cost basis. Operating work and capital at risk are different claims, and merging them overstates both. Community entries are affiliations, listed as affiliations and nothing more.
The readiness check
The check runs entirely in your browser against published rubric v1.0. Your answers are saved to your own device so you can come back to a half-finished run, and nothing is sent to us until you choose to submit. Clearing your browser data clears the run.
A score is a first pass, not a verdict. It is deterministic — the same answers always produce the same result — and it is a starting point for a conversation rather than a decision. Every score can be overridden by a person, and an override carries a written reason. The rubric is versioned; if the weights change, the version changes with them.
What you send us
Submissions and messages are read by Ryan Salvador. We keep what you send only in order to reply to it and to assess the company. We do not forward submissions, we do not share them with other companies, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
The contact form collects a name, an email address and a message. There is no audience segmentation and no hidden tagging — it does exactly what it appears to do. To have anything you have sent deleted, email ryan@kerithventures.com and it will be.
Accuracy
Writing here often touches Philippine company law, securities regulation and tax. It is researched rather than advised, it can go out of date, and it should be checked against primary sources and with your own counsel before you rely on it for anything.
